Fae, the alias of Japanese and Jewish east coast native Tanya Negin, is a Berklee drop out based in Los Angeles with a sharp tongue, fiery disposition, and a voice that demands your attention. Her music is snarky, irreverent, brutally honest — and makes you feel like no one can fuck with you.

At an early age, Tanya displayed an extreme interest and talent in singing and songwriting, with a particular inclination towards lyrics. In 2011 at the age of 17, she had been accepted and started attending school at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she honed her skills and first learned to collaborate with other musicians. After two years in Boston, for the first time in her life, Tanya decided that she no longer wanted to pursue her lifelong love of music, and moved back home.

By 2017, Tanya quickly realized that not pursuing music was a mistake, and started writing again for the first time in almost four years. By 2019, she self-released her debut EP, Purgatory, as well as an accompanying music video for the single “New Religion”.

Fae released her sophomore EP, false memories, in spring of 2023, and just released her third EP, Revelation, in January 2025.
